Social media users rave over the 'Brokeback Mountain' actress' impersonation of the NSYNC star as she narrates the 'Womanizer' singer's memoir 'The Woman in Me'.

AceShowbiz - Michelle Williams has been thrust into the spotlight following her involvement in Britney Spears' memoir "The Woman in Me", but it's all for a good reason. The actress has been showered with praises for her impression of Justin Timberlake in the audiobook.

In the book which was published on Tuesday, October 24, Britney details her past relationship with the fellow former Mouseketeer. At one point, the pop superstar writes that her then-boyfriend used a "blaccent" during an interaction with fellow singer Ginuwine.

"His band NSYNC was what people back then called 'so pimp,' " Britney writes as read by Michelle. "They were white boys, but they loved hip-hop. To me, that's what separated them from the Backstreet Boys - who seemed very consciously to position themselves as a white group. NSYNC hung out with black artists."

Britney continues, "One day, J and I were in New York, going to parts of town I had never been to before. Walking our way was a guy with a huge, blinged-out medallion - he was flanked by two giant security guards." That's when the actress then does her best interpretation of Justin as she says, "J got all excited and said so loud, 'Oh yeah, fo' shiz, fo' shiz. Ginuwine, what's up, my homie?' "

Britney adds that after Ginuwine walked away, her longtime assistant Felicia Culotta did her own impression of Justin. "J wasn't even embarrassed. He just took it and looked at her like, 'Okay, f**k you,' " she claims.

Michelle's impression of Justin has since gone viral, with many giving their take on it via social media. "This bout to be the greatest clip of audio since Watergate," one person gushed on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Others said the "Venom" star deserves an award for this, with one saying, "when michelle williams wins the best audiobook recording grammy for this line reading what then." A third similarly remarked, "michelle williams deserves an honorary egot for having to read this."

Variety, meanwhile, praised Michelle's overall performance for the audiobook. The site particularly pointed out her ability to "[animate] Spears' sense of injustice and the highs and lows of her life with a cooler touch."
