Despite reports that the 'Diamonds' songstress signed a $38.9 million deal with Live Nation for her comeback tour, a high-level source claims that there's no deal in place between the singer and the concert giant.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna isn't mapping out a world tour just yet despite reports to the contrary. Navy recently got excited after it was claimed that the Barbadian beauty had planned her comeback tour for 2024/2025, but the reports have now been deemed "bogus."

Pouring cold water on the news was Billboard, which said that it got clarification from a high-level source who would be involved in such the talks. The source said the 32 million pounds figure sounds made up and noted that "no tour has been confirmed for Rihanna," stressing that the R&B superstar hasn't yet committed to any touring projects for 2024.

The Mirror previously reported that Rih had landed a £32 million ($38.9 million) deal with Live Nation for a major comeback tour for 2024/2025. A source additionally told the U.K. news outlet that the Grammy winner already has new material worth of two albums.

"Rihanna is quietly planning a comeback tour after signing with Live Nation," the so-called insider told the site. "The deal was created to facilitate a world tour and her creative team is quietly at work in Los Angeles putting it all together as she raises her family."

"She'll press play on the live show once she's ready to go back to work and has two albums' worth of material to release once she's back," the source went on claiming.

Rihanna has been taking a break from music to focus on motherhood. She gave birth to her first son with A$AP Rocky in 2022. They named their firstborn RZA Athelaston Mayers after Wu-Tang Clan leader and founder RZA.

On February 12, 2023, during the Super Bowl LVII halftime show performance, the Fenty Beauty founder revealed her pregnancy with her second child. The baby was born at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on August 1 and named Riot Rose. In September, the pair gave first look at their second child via their respective Instagram page.

Rihanna's last album "Anti" was release in 2016. In October 2022, she dropped a single titled "Lift Me Up" from the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" soundtrack.

In an interview with British Vogue released in February of this year and conducted ahead of her Super Bowl halftime show, Rih expressed her desire to release her new album sooner than later. "I want it to be this year," she told the magazine, referring to her album's release date.

She added, "Like, honestly, it'd be ridiculous if it's not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos." However, as the magazine noted, when Rihanna said it, she was "at this stage very much unaware she is pregnant again."
