AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake allegedly tried to ease Britney Spears' pain from losing her unborn baby with music. In other details shared in her upcoming memoir "The Woman in Me", the pop superstar recalled how her then-boyfriend tried to comfort her while she was "sobbing" after she terminated her pregnancy.
A source tells Us Weekly that in the book, the "Womanizer" songstress wrote Justin strummed his guitar while she was "crying and sobbing" on the bathroom floor after she allegedly got an abortion. As for the reason why he did so, Britney said the NSYNC member "thought maybe music would help."
In an excerpt from her book published by PEOPLE on Tuesday, October 17, Britney claimed that Justin got her pregnant in 2000, but they decided to let go of the baby because he "wasn't ready" to be a father. "It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy," she wrote. "I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated."
She added of her then-boyfriend's alleged reaction, "But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."
In another part of the tell-all, Britney accused Justin of cheating on her with "another celebrity" when they were still together. According to TMZ, the 41-year-old didn't reveal the name of the woman he was cheating on her with. However, the pop star wrote that the woman in question is now married with kids and she doesn't want to embarrass her.
Justin has not publicly responded to Britney's claims. However, ET reported that "Justin has been focusing on his own family and trying not to concern himself with Britney's memoir." Though their relationship ended years ago, Justin reportedly has nothing but "respect" for Britney.
The source noted, "In recent years, Justin has tried to be supportive of Britney from a distance. They dated so long ago, but he still has respect for her." The source went on revealing Justin and Jessica Biel's wish to move past the exes' relationship as dishing, "Justin and Jessica just want everyone to grow and evolve instead of continuing to bring up the past."
