The 'Girls Trip' actress is criticized by the co-host of 'The View' for failing to take care of the 'Bad Boys' actor's feelings by revealing to the public that the two have been separated since 2016.

AceShowbiz - Jada Pinkett Smith has been blasted by Alyssa Farah Griffin following the former's viral revelation. After going public with details about her and Will Smith's marriage, the "Girls Trip" actress was called out by the co-host of "The View" for hurting the "Bad Boys for Life" actor.

On the "Behind the Table" podcast, the 34-year-old co-host talked about Jada and Will's marriage. During a chat on Tuesday, October 17, she said, "I actually love celebrity gossip, you guys know it, but this couple... everything I know about them is like against my will. There is a line in the marriage, like we all share about our personal lives, but I would never say something that humiliates, demeans or shames my husband [Justin Griffin]."

Alyssa went on to say, "We'll make fun of him here and there and what I think has been hard to watch, and I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt, I think she's probably someone who processes things by talking them out." She continued, "And she's chosen to do it in the public eye, unfortunately. But what she's missing is taking care of her partner and father of her children, who you see the pain on his face in these interviews."

In response, Alyssa's co-host Sunny Hostin appeared to have defended 52-year-old Jada and 55-year-old Will. While making a reference to Will's book, she stated, "He said in his book that they approached marriage very differently. She had experience in her family open marriages, whereas in his family he saw it as a much more traditional way but he loved her so much that he was willing to change for her."

Other co-host Joy Behar responded, "But you can love somebody a lot and not allow them to emasculate you." The 81-year-old TV personality went on to stress, "You have to stand up for yourself!"

Alyssa and Sunny's opinions came a few days after Jada confirmed that she and Will have separated since 2016. During an interview for her upcoming memoir "Worthy", Jada agreed to host Hoda Kotb's statement saying, "It was not a divorce on paper, but it was a divorce." Jada further said that she and Will "live separately."

Though so, Jada added, "I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever." She additionally shared, "And I just haven't been able to break that promise."
