AceShowbiz - A Man Walks Down the Street, the award-winning LGBTQ+ drama from Breaking Glass Pictures, is set to arrive on DVD on December 8. The film, which had its world premiere at the Austin Film Festival, where it won Best Narrative Feature in 2025, will be available for home audiences following a festival run that included stops at several prominent LGBTQ+ events.
The film follows Raanan, a middle-aged man who returns home after 30 years abroad. A chance encounter with an elderly man unlocks troubled memories, and a brief affair with a much younger man sends him spiraling through generational rifts, forcing him to confront his internalized homophobia and the emotional wounds of his past.
The cast includes Angel Bonanni, Uri Banai, Gili Blum, and Yotam Rotshtain. The official trailer has been released, offering a glimpse of the film's emotional journey.
In addition to its Austin Film Festival win, the film screened at multiple LGBTQ+ festivals, including OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival, FilmOut San Diego, Cinema Diverse Palm Springs, ImageOut Rochester, and Out On Film Atlanta. At the 2026 OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival, it was a Jury Award runner-up for Best Feature Film and received an Audience Award Honorable Mention for Best Feature.
The DVD release will allow audiences to experience the film at home. Breaking Glass Pictures is handling distribution. Further details about the DVD, such as special features, have not been announced.
