Nearly one month after telling Travis that she was 'in love' with him, the former star of 'The Hills' insists that she was not shooting her shot with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari has clarified her love declaration to Travis Kelce. The former star of "The Hills" opened up about her intention in telling the Kansas City Chiefs tight end that she was "in love" with him while he is romantically linked to singer Taylor Swift.

Speaking to Justin Sylvester and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton from E! News on Monday, October 16, the 36-year-old star said, "What's so funny is everyone was like, 'Kristin was shooting her shot with Travis.' " She went on to share her response, "I'm like, 'I actually wasn't there.' "

The reality TV personality further explained, "If I really have a crush on someone, I'm not gonna tell you I had a huge crush on you and was in love with you." She then stressed, "I've got more game than that."

Kristin's clarification came nearly one month after she confessed to Travis that she had a crush on him. While having Travis as her guest on her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, the two of them talked about his 2016 dating series "Catching Kelce" and admitted that she was a fan of the show.

Not stopping there, Kristin candidly stated in the September 18 episode of the podcast, "You were 100 percent my TV crush when the show was on." She additionally said, "I was in love with you."

In the same podcast episode, Travis spilled what he prefers to have in a partner. "If you're arrogant or you think you're snooty or higher or above people, that's the biggest turnoff for me," he told Kristin. He further said that "high-maintenance" women are a big red flag to him, stressing, "I'm out the door. I've never been a part of that."

Kristin's confession to Travis came after the NFL star sparked romance rumors with singer Taylor. The athlete and the "Blank Space" songstress have been spotted going out together since early September. She even attended a number of the Kansas City Chiefs' games to support Travis.

On September 24, Taylor sat next to his mother Donna Kelce during the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears at the Arrowhead Stadium. Meanwhile, on October 1, she watched the Chiefs vs. the New York Jets game at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey with Blake Lively, Sophie Turner, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy. She cheered on Travis with his mom Donna again during his team's game against the Denver Broncos at the Arrowhead Stadium on October 12.
