'Sandlot' Actor Marty York's Mom Killed in Her Home

According to a new report, the actor's mom Deanna Esmaeel, a sheriff deputy, was murdered in her own home in Crescent City, California with his boyfriend as the murder suspect.

AceShowbiz - "The Sandlot" star Marty York is mourning the loss of his mother, Deanna Esmaeel. According to TMZ on Friday, October 13, Deanna Esmaeel, a sheriff deputy, was murdered in her own home in Crescent City, California.

Following the death, the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office put out a public alert in hopes of tracking down the alleged suspect. Investigators named Daniel James Walter, Esmaeel's boyfriend, as the suspect in murder.

The authorities were able to locate Walter's vehicle. However, the 54-year-old is still on the loose. "We are all deeply heartbroken with the loss of Deputy Esmaeel," Sheriff Scott, who worked alongside Esmaeel at the Del Norte Sheriff's Office, said in a statement, via TMZ. "Our hearts and prayers go out to her family, friends, and co-workers."

York also addressed his mom's passing in a social media post on Friday. "This is the hardest post I'll ever have to write but I found out from the sheriff department last night that my mother was murdered by a man she was seeing," he wrote alongside a picture of him posing with his late mom.

"The emotions I have are horrible right now between rage, vengance [sic], crying," the actor, who was best known for playing "Yeah-Yeah" in 1993's "The Sandlot", elaborated. "There is a nationwide manhunt underway, please if you've seen this man contact the authorities immediately!"

He also included a Ramey Warrant for Walter. He added in the comment section, "I just want my mom back."

Fans left supportive messages in the comments section. "I'm so sorry for your loss, Marty. Praying for you and your family," one said in a comment.

"Oh Marty, I'm so sorry to hear this. My wife and I are sending prayers and pray that they get this man and prosecute him to the maximum. Love you brother," one other added. "This is horrific. I am so sorry. Sending you all my love," someone else wrote.
