AceShowbiz - Is Quavo trying to reignite his beef with Offset? The "Hotel Lobby" rapper seemingly hit back at his Migos bandmate's claim saying that they aren't biologically related in a teaser for his new album, "Rocket Power".
In the teaser, which was released on Friday, July 21, the 32-year-old spits, "Living like a rockstar, but we miss one/ My cousin jumped out the car I had to keep goin'." He adds, "Now he tellin' the whole world that we ain't blood."
"N***a it's all love, yeah it's all love/ I guess we gotta be togetha in this small world," the Quality Control Music signee continues. "N***a it's all love, yeah it's all love/ Rocket Power imma up dis s**t, let's keep it goin'."
In a cover story for Variety that was published in May, Offset was unveiled to be a classmate of Quavo. In the article, the husband of Cardi B was noted to have hung out with Quavo and the late Takeoff when he was in sixth grade.
While Offset was often referred to as Quavo's cousin, it was stated in the feature article that the two are not blood-related. Meanwhile, Quavo was confirmed to be Takeoff's uncle with only a three-year age gap.
Offset and Quavo were rumored to have clashed since before Takeoff's death. It culminated at the 2023 Grammy Awards, where they reportedly fought backstage during the February 5 ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
However, on June 18, the two rappers were seen reuniting at Takeoff's posthumous birthday celebration. They were photographed chilling out as they appeared to have a conversation.
Both Offset and Quavo also wore white T-shirts with a picture of Takeoff. Sporting matching styles, they also had multi-layered chains on their necks and put on sunglasses.
