The podcast host defends his stance by saying that the 'Just Wanna Rock' rapper had more than enough time to experiment, given the amount of time fans had to wait for new music.

AceShowbiz - Joe Budden didn't mince words when weighing in on Lil Uzi Vert's latest album, "Pink Tape". When offering his two cents on "The Joe Budden Podcast", the former rapper described the record as a "crock of s**t."

"Uzi did respond to the comments he's been making about 'experimental tapes,' and 'the real tape is coming,' blase bah," the 42-year-old said in a recent episode of his podcast. "He spoke to [DJ Akademiks] about it."

"Now, I appreciate any artist that's trying, so I don't want to take away from that. But that was a crock of s**t," the media personality continued. "Because that goes out the window once you sell it to me. It's not… you're not trying anymore."

Joe went on to argue, "This is the product that you're selling. If the plumber come over to fix some s**t, and wanna try out some new methods, you should've did that s**t before you got here." He then stressed, "Once you're here to do the service, fix the s**t. Don't experiment."

Despite Joe's criticism, "Pink Tape" scored No. 1 on the Billboard albums chart. It earned 167,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending July 6, marking Uzi's third No. 1 album on the chart.

The "Just Wanna Rock" rapper dropped their latest effort on June 30. It features guest appearances from the likes of Travis Scott (II), Nicki Minaj, Bring Me the Horizon, Don Toliver and Babymetal.
