Approached for a quick interview after leaving a Target, the 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum looked agitated when asked about her split from Dean and her recent motel stay.

AceShowbiz - Tori Spelling has spoken up amid rumors of her separation from Dean McDermott. While remaining mum on her potential divorce from her husband, the actress is seemingly more than ready to be a single mom as she said that she's always looked "better" solo.
The 50-year-old was met by paparazzi outside a Target in the San Fernando Valley on Monday, July 17. Leaving the grocery store after some shopping, the mother of five looked agitated when approached for a quick interview.
Tori dodged the question when asked if she was blindsided by her husband announcing their separation on social media last month. Later when the paparazzi asked if she might be getting a divorce, she replied, "I've always looked better on my own."
The "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum was also asked about her recent motel stay with her kids. Defending her decision, she asked back, "Are you a parent? You know you would do whatever you can for your kids, right?" When the videographer said that he's not a parent yet, she added, "You're gonna understand when you are."
Dean shocked everyone when he posted the divorce announcement in June. "It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own," it read.
"We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time," the statement continued. He, however, later deleted the post as a source claimed that the couple is not separating.
Amid rumors of their marital rift, Tori was seen checking into a $100-per-night motel in Los Angeles, where she appeared to be staying with her five children, earlier this month. A few days later, it was reported that she already checked out of the motel to stay with a friend. "Tori isn't staying at a motel. She's staying with a friend," a source told PEOPLE of her living situation.
A source also told Us Weekly that Tori's decision to take her kids to the motel had nothing to do with her alleged split from Dean. "Tori and Dean are doing really good and her staying at a hotel with their kids has nothing to do with a separation," the source explained. "They decided to stay there because of the ongoing mould problem at their house. Tori is taking this issue very seriously and isn't going to subject herself or her kids to that."
