Though denying swirling rumors that she has gotten engaged to her musician boyfriend, the 'Cool for the Summer' songstress insists that she is 'still obsessed' with him.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato has set the record straight on swirling speculation about her getting engaged. Having been caught in rumors that she and boyfriend Jute$ have taken their relationship to the next level, the "Cool for the Summer" singer slammed the false information by offering her side of the story.
On Saturday, June 17, the 30-year-old singer made the clarification via an Instagram Story. She began her statement by declaring, "If I was engaged I'd announce it!!!!!" She went on to explain, "I went to say favorite person and glitched and said boyfriend instead."
Despite her denial, the former Disney Channel star showered her musician beau with praises in the same Story. "Anyway, I'm still obsessed with @jutesmusic," she exclaimed. "And he is both my fffffffavorite person and my boyfriend!!!"
Demi and Jute$ went public with their romantic relationship back in mid-August 2022. At the time, the lovebirds were out and about in New York City, and were spotted unable to keep their hands off each other.
On how Demi and Jute$' relationship first grew, a source told E! News, "Demi and Jutes met while working on music together." The source went on to add, "Things are going really well and they have a lot in common. They bond over music. She's definitely smitten. [They] have been spending a lot of time together. Everyone thinks he is really good for her."
Since then, Demi and Jute$ have not been shy to publicly show their affection towards each other. On Tuesday, March 28, Demi paid tribute to Jutes for his 32nd birthday. Along with a series of photos capturing their moments together, she wrote in the caption, "My sweet angel - it's officially your birthday!!!"
"I couldn't be more excited to celebrate you because I couldn't be more in love with your gorgeous, funny, sexy, talented self," she continued. "I've waited my whole life to find you and I can't wait to celebrate so many more birthdays together.. you're a literal dream come true and I'm so grateful to call you mine. Have the best birthday my love.. you deserve it, the world, and more!!!! Here's to many more. I LOVE YOU."
In response, Jute$ could not help but return Demi's praises. In the comments section of the post, he marveled, "My baby, i'm the luckiest guy on earth. thank u for loving me so much and making me laugh all day every day. ur my soulmate best friend dream girl and i can't wait to be old af w u. i love u so much."
