The New York City outing comes after it's reported that the 'Sorry Not Sorry' hitmaker is in a 'happy and healthy relationship' with her fellow musician, a 'super great guy.'

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is finally taking her new relationship to the public. The "Sorry Not Sorry" hitmaker went public with her new boyfriend, fellow musician Jute$, with PDA-packed sighting.

The 29-year-old singer/songwriter was photographed holding hands with her musician boyfriend, whose real name is Jordan Lutes, while out and about in New York City on Tuesday, August 16.

Demi was in NYC because she appeared in the Tuesday episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". While out in the Big Apple, the "Stone Cold" songstress rocked a grunge look with platform loafers, fishnet stockings and a plaid skirt. She completed the sexy rock glam look with a leather jacket, necklace and heavy black eyeshadow.

As for Jute$, he kept his look casual with ripped jeans, a black long-sleeve and a fuzzy bucket hat. The musician, who worked on one of Demi's songs "Substance", looked very smitten to be out in public with his partner.

Just days before their first public outing, a source close to Demi spilled to PEOPLE about her new relationship. "It's a really happy and healthy relationship," the insider said. "He's a super great guy."

This will be Demi's first serious relationship since she ended her engagement with Max Ehrich in September 2020. The "Camp Rock" star and Max first began dating in March 2020 before getting engaged just four months later. However, by September, it was unveiled that the songstress had ended their relationship after finding out he was only dating her for publicity.

Back in February, Demi opened up about being single to Rolling Stone. The musician, who is about to drop her eighth studio album "Holy Fvck", told the outlet, "Today, I'm feeling good being alone, but I definitely had my sad moment, for sure."

Aside from Max, Demi was previously in a relationship with Wilmer Valderrama before they called it quits after six years of being on-and-off. On Demi's new song titled "29", she appears to diss the "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" star over their 12-year age gap. The two began dating when the actor was 29 and she was 17.
