2 Chainz 'Crushed' After Losing His Dog Trappy

In a heartfelt post on his social media account, the 'Mercy' rapper expresses the love he has for his dog of nine years by saying, 'I loved my dog more than some people I know.'

AceShowbiz - 2 Chainz is mourning the loss of his dog. When expressing his sadness with his followers in an Instagram post, the "Mercy" rapper said that he was "crushed" after he lost Trappy.

On Monday, June 5, the 45-year-old shared a photo and a series of videos of him and his dog of nine years. Along with the snap and clip, he wrote in the caption, "Cant believe im even saying this man." He went on to express his feelings, "I'm crushed like a mf man this my heart right here."

The College Park native further explained his relationship with his beloved dog, "I have had @trappygoyard for 9 years. We have traveled and kicked it all over the world and he is no longer here mannn." He continued, "S**t hurt me no cap, feel like a person passed away."

2 Chainz additionally shared the love he has for his pet friend. "I love my dog he was so smart and laid back !! I have so many items and memories of Trappy," he pointed out. "Can't believe I wont hear you snoring no more," the "I'm Different" rapper lamented.

"I know for a fact we influenced many people to try to get a dog that looked and acted like you, it could never be another Trappy," he added. "That was so sad to me. I loved my dog more than some people I know."

The photo that 2 Chainz released on his Instagram account captured him with Trappy. In the snap, he could be seen sitting next to his dog as they posed for the camera. He followed up the picture with a slew of videos documenting the time Trappy spent with his family.

After 2 Chainz posted the heart-wrenching post, it did not take long for his followers to express their condolences. In the comments section of the post, one in particular wrote, "I know how you feel. You never knew losing a paw friend could hurt so bad. Take care of yourself because those emotions are real!"

Another follower, who seemed to be facing a similar loss, chimed in, "I just said goodbye to my best friend this past weekend after 18 years together. The only pain I can compare this to is losing my mother. Truly world shattering."

The commenter continued, "I'm so sorry for the pain you're going through, and all who have lost beloved furry family members. We don't deserve the love of dogs, but I'm sure thankful for it. RIP Trappy and Cooter."
