AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is back on the single market. The "All Too Well" hitmaker reportedly has broken up with Matty Healy following a whirlwind romance.
Revealing Taylor and Matty's relationship status was TMZ. While the outlet didn't offer more details regarding the two stars' split, a source told Entertainment Tonight that they parted ways due to incompatibility.
"Taylor and Matty broke up. They are both extremely busy and realized they're not really compatible with each other," shared the source. "Taylor's friends want what's best for her and aren't shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship."
The breakup reports arrived just days after Matty was filmed kissing a male security guard on the lips during his performance. The 1975 frontman locked lips with the security guard while performing "Robbers" at the 2023 NorthSide Festival in Eskelunden.
News of Matty and Taylor's alleged romance first broke in May, just weeks after it was reported in April that she and Joe Alwyn called it quits after dating for 6 years. Radar Online later reported that Taylor has been privately telling her inner circle that she's head over heels for her rocker boyfriend despite fans' concerns about his past.
Later that month, a source told The Sun that the alleged couple are moving in together. "He and Taylor are so loved up and want to spend as much time together as they can. Matty has already told the 1975 team that he'll be doing all the band demos in America for the foreseeable," said the insider.
"He will work on his parts for their collaboration while she is on tour and has scheduled time to attend select shows to gather inspiration for her next album," the source continued. "Matty is Joe Alwyn 2.0 - her superstar status doesn't faze him in the slightest."
