AceShowbiz - Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello continue to convince fans that they have gotten back together. The former couple, who called it quits nearly two years ago, were caught holding hands in New York City.
The 24-year-old heartthrob and the former Fifth Harmony member took a stroll in the Big Apple on Tuesday, May 23. For the outfit, he wore a dark gray muscle tee, light-wash jeans and white sneakers. His companion, meanwhile, sported a white tank top underneath a black leather jacket that she paired with jeans.
Shawn and Camila sparked reconciliation rumors following their PDA at this year's Coachella. On April 14, they were caught kissing and dancing together while attending the music festival in Indio, California.
The rumored on-again couple was later spotted holding hands while strolling the street in Santa Monica, near a bank of restaurants, on April 19. A few days later, the Canadian star was seen picking up flowers ahead of her meetup with the "Don't Go Yet" hitmaker.
On May 3, Shawn and Camila were seen packing on PDAs while meeting up for some laughs at the Hollywood Improv, a comedy club on Melrose Avenue. The pair were seen sharing a romantic embrace while gazing lovingly at each other.
They were also seen sharing a smile and conversing while walking side-by-side. After enjoying some time at the club, the duo headed to the iconic Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.
Shawn and Camila announced their breakup via a joint statement in 2021. "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. [heart emoji] We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward [heart emojis] Camila and Shawn (sic)," they declared at that time.
