AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan proved that they remain good friends despite their split. The former couple were photographed sharing a sweet hug during an out and about with their 9-year-old daughter, Everly.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the "Magic Mike" hunk could be seen wearing a white T-shirt, a brown baseball cap and sunglasses as he wrapped his arm around his ex-wife. The 42-year-old actress, in the meantime, sported a white crop top with matching sneakers and cream-colored joggers.
Channing and Jenna started dating in 2006 after meeting on the set of "Step Up. The pair tied the knot in July 2009 and welcomed Everly in May 2013. The two, however, announced their split in 2018 after almost nine years of marriage.
"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple," the exes said in a joint statement. "We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now."
While Channing and Jenna are amicable now, there was seemingly tension between the two shortly after their separation. Jenna even weighed in on Channing's romance with Jessie J by writing in her 2019 book "Gracefully You", "I was learning things about my ex most people wouldn’t have to face - and over the internet, as it was happening."
"There I was, on a plane, alone, finding out about his new relationship. I felt blindsided," she admitted. "Choosing grace as I learned everything about my personal situation along with the rest of the world was really difficult."
While Channing is no longer with Jessie, Jenna has moved on with actor Steve Kazee. The pair got engaged in February 2020 and have since been "figuring out the ins and outs" of their nuptials, though they have a lot of ideas.
