The Blink-182 drummer, who injured his digit in February when he was rehearsing with his band for their upcoming reunion tour, also shares a photo of him laying in his hospital bed.

AceShowbiz - Travis Barker is back on social media after having finger surgery. When sharing an update about his condition following the procedure, the ]Blink-182] drummer shared a gruesome picture of his finger being cut open.

In addition to the graphic picture, the 47-year-old unlashed on Instagram a photo of him laying in bed with a cast around his hand and arm. "Thank you for all the love and prayers and understanding this week as I went into surgery. It was a hard decision to make but ultimately I couldn't continue to play the drums without it," he wrote in the caption.

"It was inevitable that my finger would have dislocated again without fixing the torn ligament surgically," he added. "So grateful for Dr. Shin and that my surgery was a success so that I can keep doing what I love and see you guys on tour soon (trigger warning: last photo is hard to look at)."

Travis injured his digit in February when he was rehearsing with his band for the "All The Small Things" rockers' upcoming reunion tour. He tweeted on February 8, "I was playing the drums at rehearsals yesterday and I smashed my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments."

Later that month, the musician gave fans a glimpse at his physical therapy and a finger brace. "Surgery tomorrow," he penned alongside the February 27 post. His wife Kourtney Kardashian replied to the post with a series of prayer hands and heart emojis.

No gigs have been postponed or canceled following the injury. Fans are hoping the surgery won't impact Blink-182's first tour with Tom DeLonge in the lineup, alongside Travis and their bandmate Mark Hoppus, since 2014.
