The former daytime TV queen hasn't been on screen since getting booted off her eponymous talk show 'The Wendy Williams Show' in June last year following months-long absence due to health issues.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams aims for a TV comeback. The former daytime TV queen has revealed her desire to be on "The View", alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, in a new bizarre rant.

The 58-year-old former TV star's strange rant about her future was caught on camera while shopping at a pet store. She was spotted at a Petco in California over the weekend looking particularly frazzled as she walked down the aisles of the pet store.

A fan walked up to the fuzzy-booted former talk show personality and started filming as she went on a wild rant about her pets, work and her forced "retirement," per The Sun. The former "The Wendy Williams Show" host told the cameraman, "I'm shopping for kitty litter because I have a wax museum in Paris and one in California."

"I'm going for a week in Paris and then three weeks in California and then immediately fly back," she continued rambling on. "I want to be on TV, stuff like Seth Meyers, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, 'The View'. Stuff like that."

The bizarre rant came after it's reported that Wendy was filming a mystery project in New York City. Page Six reported on February 23 that Wendy filmed the so-called new project at Fresco by Scotto. Sources said the former radio personality, who has been lying low since battling health and addiction issues, took the power eatery by storm.

"Basically it was a regular night.. and then all of the sudden the Wendy Williams train arrived," an insider detailed. "She had a huge crew that basically turned Fresco by Scotto into a movie set.. approximately 30 people in the crew. Lights, cameras, audio, producers, etc. [It] looked like a reality show."

The source continued, "One of the 'scenes' was Wendy having dinner with a friend. Wendy came into the dining room with her big personality waving at all the guests, like they were extras in her movie."

Wendy hasn't been on screen since getting booted off her own show "The Wendy Williams Show" in June 2022 following months-long absence due to health issues. CBS cut the TV personality and replaced her show with Sherri Shepherd's "Sherri".
