The political commentator surprisingly praises the 'Umbrella' singer's halftime show and slams conservatives for 'trying to pick it apart' after Donald Trump called it 'epic fail.'

AceShowbiz - Candace Owens is coming to Rihanna's defense amid conservatives' criticism of her Super Bowl halftime show. The political commentator, who is known for her controversial comments, has surprisingly defended the Barbadian star against those who are "trying to pick [her performance] apart."

In the Monday, February 13 edition of her Daily Wire podcast "Candace Owens", the conservative author broke down why she liked Rih's show. "There were no ass cheeks!" she celebrated. "There were no trans people. There were no rainbow flags. There were no dildos. There were no kids doing anything inappropriate."

Candace praised Rihanna for not getting political and "just performing her hits" during the halftime show. "She didn't invite Satan to sing a couple of chords with her at halftime. She wasn't like, 'Oh, and here's my friend Satan.' There was no political message. She didn't fly a Black Lives Matter flag. She wasn't dressed in Antifa garb," she further elaborated.

The 33-year-old continued, "She didn't say anything against Trump. She didn't say anything against Biden. She didn't have children locked in cages. There was no lesbian humping. I watched it with my jaw on the floor."

Candace even ripped on fellow conservatives who criticized the halftime show. "I was super annoyed to see that some people were still trying to pick it apart and, 'Oh, this is - this is something else. I don't like it.' Conservatives, this is where we lose, this is where we lose, right?" she said.

She then compared Rih's show to Sam Smith's "Unholy" performance at the 2023 Grammys, which was full of satanic symbols. "When something like what Sam Smith did hits the stage and we say, 'This is bad,' - Good 'cause it is bad," she stated. "But when something like what Rihanna did hits the stage and you find something bad with it, that's just called being annoying. That’s just called sticking your nose up to culture. That's just called why we lose in the end."

"I saw one person say, 'Why is she wearing the color red like the devil?' Well, red is actually a color. You're allowed to wear red. I'm wearing red lipstick right now. It's not like the devil. It is a color and she can wear it. She was not wearing devil horns accompanied with it," the pro-Trump supporter further argued.

Calling it a "win" for conservatives, Candace told the haters, "So chill out. Enjoy the fact that we got a rare win here and that your children were not exposed to the transgender dildos and assless chaps."

Candace apparently disagreed with Donald Trump who previously blasted Rihanna's performance. On Sunday, the former president wrote on his Truth Social account, "EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history."

The 76-year-old also took issue with Rih's political stance, adding, "This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language. Also, so much for her 'Stylist!' "

Also giving her take on Rih's performance was Bethenny Frankel. While she didn't hate it that much, the former Bravolebrity insinuated that the show had no wow factor. She said in an Instagram video that the 34-year-old's performance was "good not great."

The reality TV star went on comparing the Grammy Award-winning artist to Pink, saying that the "Diamonds" hitmaker is a "much less inspired" performer than the 43-year-old star. "It wasn't even comparable," the 52-year-old said. "Pink was just so incredibly passionate."

"The Real Housewives of New York City" alum, however, acknowledged that taking the stage while being pregnant with baby No. 2 "could not have been easy" for Rihanna. She also declared Rih a "winner" because her makeup company Fenty Beauty "won the Super Bowl in the beauty category."
