The upcoming sixth installment in the slasher film franchise debuts the fear-inducing promo ahead of the big game on Sunday, February 12 and its March release.

AceShowbiz - Ghostface isn't coming to theaters until next month, but is going to bring terror to Super Bowl LVII this weekend. Ahead of the big game on Sunday, February 12, Paramount Pictures has released a new TV ad for "Scream VI" that will play during the sports event.

The fear-inducing promo features Ghostface who is hunting down the Carpenters and their friends in New York City after the girls left Woodsboro. The video sees the protagonists desperately trying to escape from the serial killer, crossing a ladder laid across the windows of two separate buildings.

Tired of being the hunted, Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega) later comes up with a plan to lure Ghostface. "C'mon motherf**ker," she screams at the end of the video before the ad cuts her off.

In "Scream VI", Melissa Barrera reprises her role as Sam Carpenter, with Courteney Cox returning as Gale Weathers and Hayden Panettiere reprising her "Scream 4" role as Kirby, the lone survivor of the high-body count Woodsboro Massacre Remake. Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra and Samara Weaving also star in the upcoming movie.

Neve Campbell, who reprised her role as Sidney in "Scream 5", isn't coming back for the sixth installment because she didn't feel "valued" by the deal she was offered. Ortega, however, insisted that fans won't notice Campbell's absence because the new movie is so action-packed.

"I feel like I can't really speak too much on that just because it's not necessarily my character, but I will say there's so much going on in this next one, that it's so action-heavy and so gore-heavy that I think you're gonna be distracted almost," the "Wednesday" star told Entertainment Tonight in November 2022.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directed "Scream VI" with the script written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. The horror slasher film is set to be unleashed in U.S. theaters on March 10.
