AceShowbiz - Another beloved hip-hop couple may have called it quits. DDG and Halle Bailey have social media buzzing over the status of their relationship after fans noticed their eyebrow-raising social media activities.
DDG appeared to hint at the breakup as he has scrubbed his Instagram clean of any trace of Halle. He has deleted all pictures of the R&B singer. Furthermore, the two are no longer following each other on Instagram.
These all happened after DDG posted a cryptic message on Twitter. "All these girls the same," he recently vented on the micro-blogging site, adding, "Ain't no wayy," along with a crying emoji.
Seeing this, fans have taken to social media to express their concern over the couple's relationship. "Did Halle and DDG break up?! Between his tweet and delete, deleting all their photos of his page, and he's cryptic a** IG story … I was rooting so hard for them," one fan wrote on the blue bird app. Another similarly tweeted, "I really hope Halle and DDG didn't break up. I love them together."
Halle and DDG were first romantically linked to each other in late 2021. While it seemed like an unlikely match, the two continued to show their bond and cute display of affection toward each other.
Just last October, the one-half of Chloe x Halle showed her love for the YouTuber on his 25th birthday by sharing on Instagram a cute video of the two throughout their relationship. The clip, which was soundtracked with "Married Life" by Just Kids from Disney Pixar's "Up", showed the couple practicing what looks like a secret handshake while wearing coordinating dark gray outfits. The footage then cut to the pair laying down on the couch together.
As the video transitioned, it showcased the couple enjoying an afternoon drive, smiling big while taking mirror selfies and laughing while attending late-night concerts. There was also footage of the pair listening to music in each other's arms. In the caption, she gushed, "happy happy birthday @ddg [one red heart emoji] love you forever."
Later in November, DDG gushed over what made his relationship with Chloe was so special. "I've never been with nobody that's like really motivated me like she do," he said on "The Breakfast Club". "I'm seeing different s**t. I ain't really been around this type of s**t before. So, it's like, she's bringing me around s**t that I ain't really-you know what I'm saying?" He went on sharing, "I was my own person before her, but in a way, she put me on to different s**t. That's dope because I'm usually the one putting motherf**kers on."
