Taking to his Instagram account, the 50-year-old 'Black Adam' actor shares a picture featuring the aftermath of the severe crash in Los Angeles involving his mom Ata.

AceShowbiz - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson expresses how grateful he is as his mom Ata is OK after being caught in an almost-fatal car accident on Wednesday evening, February 1 in Los Angeles. Taking to his Instagram account, the "Black Adam" actor revealed his mom's condition while sharing a picture featuring the aftermath of the terrifying crash.

In the Thursday post, the 50-year-old star uploaded a picture of the red Cadillac Escalade that his mother was driving that night. The SUV was severely damaged as its front-passenger side was crushed.

"Thank you God she's ok. Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night," the "Red Notice" actor wrote in the caption. "She'll survive and continue to get evaluated."

The Rock continued, "This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide. She's a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real." He added, "I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug 'em hard, cos you never know when you'll get that 3am call we never want to get."

He also gave a shout out to Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department. "Thank you LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused. Thanks for staying on phone and talking me thru it all," he penned.

In the comments section, friends and fans showed support and love for Dwayne and his mom. "Praise God we love you angel mother!!!!!!!!!! Praise God in the name of Jesus you will ALWAYS be covered…. We love you mother!!! GRACE!!!!!" Dwayne's "Fast & Furious" co-star Tyrese Gibson wrote. Terry Crews and Dana White also sent prayers underneath The Rock's post.

Dwayne is never shy when it comes to publicly showing love for his mom. Back in December 2022, the "Jumanji: The Next Level" star documented the moment when he surprised his mom with a Cadillac SUV, though that's not the car involved in the recent crash.

"This one felt good," he captioned the Instagram video at the time. "Surprised my mom with a new car for Christmas today. She was shocked. She got a few good ugly cries in. Then once her grand babies joined her inside the car. She was overcome with pure joy. I'm so grateful I can do this kinda stuff for my mom, who's had one helluva lif. I don't take any of it for granted. Neither does she."
