The 'Easy on Me' hitmaker insists she 'would never be as disrespectful' to the Grammys or to 'other artists' while shutting down the claims on her Las Vegas residency performance.

AceShowbiz - Adele wants everyone to know the truth. The "Easy on Me" hitmaker has shut down claims that she will not be attending the 2023 Grammy Awards despite receiving seven nominations.

The 34-year-old chart-topping singer debunked the rumors during her Las Vegas residency performance on Friday, January 27. In a video surfacing on Twitter, she asked the audience, "Who said I wasn't going to the Grammys?!"

Adele then slammed the reports, saying, "Man, whoever started that rumor is a d**khead!" The "Someone Like You" songstress further stressed, "I am going to the Grammys. I would never miss the Grammys," before explaining, "I would never be as disrespectful to the Grammys or to other artists. Whoever started that little story needs to go touch some grass. Go get some fresh air."

During her career, Adele has won 15 of 18 Grammy nominations, with honors including Best New Artist and twice winning the honors for Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

Earlier this month, The Recording Academy announced the nominations during a live streamed event from Los Angeles. Beyonce Knowles led the way with an incredible nine nods, tying the record for most nominations of all-time with a total of 88.

Despite Adele confirming that she will be in attendance, there's no word on whether she will be performing at the upcoming show. The list of announced performers includes Bad Bunny, Brandi Carlile, Mary J. Blige, Lizzo, Steve Lacy, Luke Combs, Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

The show will be broadcast live on CBS on February 5 at 8 P.M. ET/ 5 P.M. PT from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and hosted by Trevor Noah. Prior to the telecast, the Grammy Premiere Ceremony will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on live.grammy.com.
