AceShowbiz - Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope have welcomed their first child together. When announcing the baby's arrival, the former child star and his wife said they are "overjoyed with gratitude" following the baby's arrival.
Making use of Instagram on Friday, January 20, the couple shared a photo of the two staring at their baby lovingly as she was sleeping soundly in her dad's arms. There were also two other pictures of the tot being wrrapped in a blanket.
In the caption, Joey wrote, "1.16.23 ~ Dylan Rose Lawrence ~ Mom, Dad and big sisters are all so smitten with you sweet girl!" He added, "We welcomed her into this world with the most amazing midwife."
"Everyone is happy and healthy and we are overjoyed with gratitude," the proud father added. "Wow what a beautiful journey. thank you for all your continued love surrounding this beautiful new life! stay tuned for baby spam xoxo."
Joey confirmed Samantha's pregnancy back in September 2022. "The blessings just keep on coming. Proud of you babe! [heart emoji] Baby Lawrence on the way! (sic)" he Joey wrote on Instagram at that time alongside a snap of Samantha's growing baby bump.
The baby is the first for Samantha and the third for Joey. The 46-year-old musician is already a father to two daughters Charleston, 16, and Liberty, 12, whom he shares with his ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson.
Joey and Samantha got married in May Samantha in an outdoor ceremony in Temecula, California. The actor was joined at the ceremony by his close family and friends, including both of his daughters. He subsequently said, "It just feels so right. Life can be challenging at times, but when God gives you the right person, it's worth it."
