Morghan Medlock accuses the 40-year-old hip-hop star of wrongful termination, retaliation and multiple illegal labor practices linked to more than a year of employment for the entertainer.

AceShowbiz - A new report offers more details about Lil Wayne's latest legal trouble. After the "Lollipop" rapper was sued by his former personal chef, Morghan Medlock, who claimed that he wrongfully fired her after she's forced to ditch him due to family emergency, it has been said that that's not the case.

According to The Neighborhood Talk, a source from the rapper's camp said that Morghan was let go due to privacy issues. She allegedly breached the star's privacy by actively posting things related to him on social media platforms such as TikTok.

In her suit, Morghan accused the 40-year-old hip-hop star of wrongful termination, retaliation and multiple illegal labor practices linked to more than a year of employment for the entertainer. She claimed that Wayne fired her earlier this year just because she went to tend to her injured son.

Morghan revealed in the legal documents, which were obtained by TMZ, that she accompanied the rapper during his trip to Las Vegas over the Memorial Day weekend as a chef for the rapper. She shared that she first began working for Wayne in October 2020 and had been assigned to organize his "menus on a daily basis to meet his particular requests."

"Her tasks included but were not limited to the shopping and preparation of each meal, coordinating the anticipated number of meals to prepare in addition to meeting others demands and requests," the court papers read, noting that she was "on call" for the majority of the time.

However, Morghan said that her 10-year-old son was hospitalized in Los Angeles with "a severe head injury and concussion requiring emergency hospitalization" while they were on the trip. She claims that the emcee, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., stalled the departure of the flight back by smoking marijuana on the aircraft.

That prompted Morghan to decide to catch another flight so she could depart earlier. She allegedly informed Wayne's assistant that she was leaving, believing that they would understand due to the circumstances. When she returned to her work after tending to her son, she said that she was given "the cold shoulder" instead.

According to her, a member of Wayne's staff texted her what was described as "an ungraceful goodbye message," before she was officially fired. She said that the musician sent her a message reading, "Tell Chef Morghan this isn't going to work."

The chef accused the rap artist of "conduct with a substantial factor and causing harm to [her] including but not limited to loss of earnings and other employment, benefits, mental anguish, and emotional distress." She's seeking $500,000 from Wayne over the injustice.
