AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson has set the record straight. The former "Saturday Night Live" star clarifies his relationship with Chase Sui Wonders after they were spotted hanging out together amid Pete's alleged romance with Emily Ratajkowski.
A representative for Pete claimed to TMZ that "Chase and Pete are great friends." The rep also noted that the pair, who met on the set of "Bodies, Bodies, Bodies", hung out all the time and they are not an item.
The clarification arrived after the comedian was photographed going on a grocery date with Chase. "The King of Staten Island" star and his lady friend were seen at a Whole Foods on Saturday afternoon, December 17. During their outing, the two appeared to try to go incognito as both of them were wearing their hoods completely over their heads.
That was the second time for them to be hanging out together in recent days. Prior to the grocery date, Pete and Chase attended the New York Rangers game at Madison Square Garden on Thursday.
During the outing, Chase was all smiles while sitting next to the comedian. Rachel Sennott joined them as she was seen enjoying a drink on his opposite arm. The "Call Your Mother" alum also shared a picture of her and Chase on Instagram, writing, "Girls at the game."
Meanwhile, a previous report claimed that Pete was "bummed" after Emily was spotted on a date with DJ Orazio Rispo. "Pete is slightly bummed when he sees her on a date with another guy because he does like her a lot," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "But he is not putting all of his eggs in one basket either."
The source added, "Pete understands that Emily just got out of a marriage and he doesn't want to smother her," noting that "they both have very busy lives and Pete's career is on the up and up." It was also said that Pete "has told Emily that he feels very strongly for her and she knows that he really is into her. He hasn't been secretive about this to his close friends, or family."
Pete and Emily sparked romance rumors after they were photographed hanging out together on several occasions. In addition to spending Thanksgiving together, the two fueled their romance rumors when they stepped out to attend a NY Knicks game together last month.
