Meanwhile, Wack 100 doesn't believe that the 'Pushin P' hitmaker was released simply after he pleaded guilty, suggesting that the rapper snitched on his friends.

AceShowbiz - Gunna seems to be in good spirits following his release from prison. New photos of the 29-year-old star have surfaced hours after he walked out of jail, showing him all smiles while hanging out with his friends.

One image featured Wunna dressing in an all-black number while sitting in a room with two friends. Another was taken from his FaceTime call with jeweler Eliott Eliantte. "Welcome home my brother," the jeweler captioned the screenshot, adding a blue heart emoji.

While Gunna received warm welcome from his friends, not everyone had good things to say about the rapper's release from prison. In an interview shortly after the YSL artist was released, Wack 100 said, "You're not pleading guilty to RICO and they're freeing you," suggesting that Wunna snitched on his friends.

Gunna was arrested in May among 28 persons associated with YSL, who were charged in a 56-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) indictment. The label boss and fellow rapper Young Thug was among those arrested and faces multiple charges.

While Thugger remains in jail, Gunna pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act on Wednesday, December 14. He took an Alford plea, meaning that he entered a guilty plea to the one charge while maintaining his innocence on that same charge as a form of self-preservation. He was sentenced to five years in prison, but it was commuted to time served.

In a statement after agreeing to plead guilty, he said, "While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way."

"I have chosen to end my own RICO case with an Alford plea and end my personal ordeal by publicly acknowledging my association with YSL," he added. "An Alford plea in my case is the entry of a guilty plea to the one charge against me, which is in my best interest, while at the same time maintaining my innocence toward the same charge."

Trying to maintain a good relationship with his label, he said, "I love and cherish my association with YSL music, and always will. I look at this as an opportunity to give back to my community and educate young men and women that 'gangs' and violence only lead to destruction."

Gunna was seen leaving the Fulton County Jail later that day. In a clip which has circulated online, he was greeted by a woman outside the jail. The two shared a hug, during which he squeezed the woman's butt. They later walked hand-in-hand while heading to an awaiting car.
