Last week, SZA revealed that some musical artists ghosted her by not turning in their verses on time for the highly-anticipated follow-up to her 2017 album 'Ctrl'.

AceShowbiz - Kehlani is clearing up the air. The "Gangsta" songstress has set the record straight after fans suspected that she's one of the musical artists who are featured in SZA's new album "SOS".

Following the release of SZA's long-awaited album, many fans were convinced that Kehlani, who's SZA's best friend, would be in it. However, on Sunday, December 11, Kehlani turned to her TikTok account to tell the truth. "I WISH I GOT ASKED WTF [laughing with tears emoji]," so she wrote after a user said, "Idk why I feel like kehlani is on this table."

Last week, SZA appeared on HOT 97's "Nessa On Air" and expressed that she could have had more features on her new album but so many of her anticipated collaborators didn't turn in their verses on time. "For a lot of these people, I didn't turn in my verse, so I can't be too mad. But also, in the same token, it's like, 'Damn this sucks, I really needed you. I wish you showed up for me.' But I'm sure they felt the same way for me," the "Shirt" singer shared.

Of the real meaning behind the title of her new album "SOS", which the cover album was inspired by Princess Diana's final holiday photo, SZA told host Nessa that she thinks the album "is like saving our souls," stressing that she feels her new music "acts like self-savior."

SZA's second studio album "SOS" was released on Friday, December 9. The project boasts guest appearances from several artists like Don Toliver ("Used"), Phoebe Bridgers ("Ghost in the Machine") and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard ("Forgiveless"). The singer also teamed up with Travis Scott (II) for "Open Arms", marking their latest collaboration following "Love Galore" and "Power Is Power" ft. The Weeknd.

The highly-anticipated follow-up to 2017's "Ctrl" also includes a single titled "Blind". She performed the tune live for the first time in the Saturday, December 3 episode of "Saturday Night Live".
