AceShowbiz - Christmas is right around the corner and Chris Brown is more than ready for it. The R&B crooner embraced the holiday spirit by releasing two music videos for his recent songs, "No Time Like Christmas" and "It's Giving Christmas", on Friday, December 9.
In the visuals for the former track, the 33-year-old can be seen singing with his band while wearing a white shirt, beanie and khaki pants. In the second clip, meanwhile, the singer opts for a more casual look as he sports a Celine cardigan, matching beanie and jeans.
CB dropped the songs in November. However, when he shared the snippet of "It's Giving Christmas", fans were not feeling it and they have since voiced their disappointment on Instagram.
One person in particular argued, "CB has been making the same song for like 10 years." Another added, "It's like he's stuck somewhere in 2012." A third echoed the sentiment, "Why do all his songs sound the same since 2013."
Someone else chimed in, "It sounds like all his other songs." A different individual suggested, "Chris need to lock in with some new producers man.. why them beats be sounding so similar? It takes away from him being a Great artist."
The criticism might be surprising for CB because fans were initially excited after he teased the song around a week prior to reelasing the preview. "I'M MAKING A NEW CHRISTMAS SONG THIS YEAR!!! BEEN TOO LONG," he announced at that time. "It's Giving Christmas.' "
That aside, CB will kick off his "Under the Influence Tour" throughout Europe in February 2023. The Grammy award-winning musician will visit 13 cities across the U.K. and Europe and is set to be joined by dancehall artist Skillibeng.
