He reportedly paid tens of millions of dollars in settlements with victims and lost a large portion of his net worth after divorcing Andrea Lee. He also faced tax problems with the IRS. While people think that Tori Spelling was lucky to be born in a healthy family, she didn't get to enjoy the privilege for the rest of her life. However, she and her brother Randy Spelling each only inherited $800,000, with the majority of their father's estate going to his wife Candy Spelling.

Tori, who rose to fame with her role on "Beverly Hills, 90210", admitted in her book "Spelling It Like It Is" that she had financial troubles, due to the cancellation of her reality series, poor real estate decisions and a difficult fourth pregnancy. In a 2021 episode of the reality show, she admitted to her co-star Kyle Richards that she didn't have a penny to her name. The younger brother of Nick Carter started having financial troubles as early as age 18, owing $3.5 million in tax liens. In 2013, he filed for bankruptcy and placed his assets at $8,232.16 while his total financial liabilities totaled more than $2.2 million. While he managed to come out of the worst, he only left behind $550,000 at the time of his death on November 5.

His career suddenly came to a screeching halt following abuse allegations by his exes in 2021. While he was never officially charged, the scandal cost him his roles in a number of projects which he had already locked beforehand. Since then, the 36-year-old has not been able to secure new acting jobs. Throughout his life, the rap icon experienced serious legal and financial problems, along with frequent issues with drug addiction. The "Party Up (Up in Here)" hitmaker's money issues largely stemmed from unpaid child support, but he also failed to pay income taxes which left him deeply in debt.
