Stopping by 'Watch What Happens Live', the 'CBS This Mornings' host is asked by Andy Cohen what she thought when 'all hell has broken loose' on rival show 'Good Morning America'.

AceShowbiz - Gayle King has weighed in on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' affair scandal that has caused "internal distraction" at ABC. As a "CBS This Morning" host, the 67-year-old wasn't a bit relieved when learning of the situation that happened on rival show "Good Morning America".
Gayle gave her two cents on Amy and T.J.'s alleged affair when stopping by "Watch What Happens Live" on Thursday, December 8. Asked by host Andy Cohen what she thought when "all hell has broken loose" on "GMA", she said, "Oh gosh, of all the questions I was hoping you would not talk about."
She then shared her thought, calling the situation "messy" and "sloppy." Oprah Winfrey's best friend added, "I mean, I look at the situation and I do say it's very interesting what's happening over there. It's just gotten very messy and very sloppy. I do think that."
"You know, because in the beginning I actually thought - listen, good on 'Good Morning America', they're saying that they're not taking them off the air, two consenting adults. But then the more you read, it's just very messy," she divulged.
Expressing her concern for those dragged into the situation, Gayle said, "To me, it's a sad situation because you've got kids involved, you've got families involved and I keep thinking about that. I'm very concerned about that."
Amy and T.J. were taken off the air after their secret romance was exposed to public earlier this month. ABC News' President Kim Godwin made the decision to temporarily bench the two anchors after their relationship has caused "internal and external distraction."
"I'm going to talk about something that has become an internal and an external distraction: The relationship between two of our colleagues," he told staffers during an internal call on Monday, December 5. "And so, I want to say that while that relationship is not a violation of company policy, I have really taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization. And so, for now, I am going to take Amy and TJ off the air, while we figure this out."
He explained, "These decisions are not easy, they are not knee jerk, but they are necessary for the brand and for our priority which, you guys know, are all of is-the people here at ABC."
Amid her "GMA3" absence, Amy has been spotted for the first time when walking her dog around her New York City neighborhood on Wednesday. She has not been seen together with T.J. since they were taken off the air, but sources tell TMZ they're still "very much together."
