AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian had an eventful night while attending the 2022 People's Choice Awards. "The Kardashians" star revealed on Instagram Story that she had a wardrobe malfunction that caused her to not be able to immediately join mom Kris Jenner onstage to accept an award.
"My outfit broke," the reality TV star, who was honored with The Reality Star of 2022 award, told her Instagram followers on Tuesday, December 6. "The whole zipper popped open. So I am sewn into my outfit."
Koko, who looked stunning in a black Jean Paul Gaultier suit, went on to say, "I had to pee. So we had to cut the stitching out and sew me back in."
At the award-giving event, which took place at the Baker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, Khloe also blamed her tardiness on some beauty struggles. "I'm so sorry I'm out of breath," the mom of two explained to the crowd. "I was trying to fix my hair, oh my God. A girl's gotta fix her hair."
Apparently, those weren't the only problems that she had that night. "My hair - here, right here - it's a disaster," Khloe shared on Instagram Story. "But that's okay. Champagne problems!"
She later thanked fans for supporting her and her family's Hulu show. "Thank you guys so much. I am so honored and happy to be here and just that we are able to live our lives in front of the TV and that you guys want to watch it," she said.
In another post, Khloe further reflected on her victory despite the snafu. "You guys, my hair looks really good now. I'm telling you … I don't know what happened onstage, my hair was f**ked up and then I was being called. My mom was onstage alone, so I had to run over there and save her, and I looked like a freak," she said while hugging her friend Malika Haqq. "I'm so f**king happy that I won People's Choice for the fifth year in a row and that 'Kardashians' won as well!"
