AceShowbiz - Nas proved he has no ill feelings toward 21 Savage. Despite being called irrelevant by the latter, the "Get Down" rapper decided to team up with him for a new joint single titled "One Mic, One Gun".

The track arrived on Tuesday, November 29. Nas raps in his verse, "No back and forth, I did it back then, I do it right now/ I opened a lane for my era, I'm goated, they gavе me the crown/ G.O.A.T. with all the succеss, the negative press, I'm watchin' it pile/ They sayin' that black music dyin', I'm sayin', 'They wipin' us out."

"But look at me now, damn, y'all, look at me now/ Whatever I do is N.Y., I'm keepin' it Queens 'cause that's my side," the 49-year-old emcee continues. "I shook up the town, I shook up the city, I shook up the state/ I'm with 21 on my second run, this s**t come with age."

Prior to its release, Nas announced the collaboration on Instagram. "Nas x @21savage TONIGHT Only way we moving is with love, respect and unity," he penned in the caption. "The foundational principles of hip hop. Excited to collaborate with my young brother and I hope more artist use turbulent moments and turn them into a time to make new art. That's what it's about."

The collaboration came as a surprise for hip-hop fans considering 21 Savage's recent remarks about Nas. The former came under fire earlier this month as he said in a heated Clubhouse debate, "What y'all saying, relevant though? I don't feel like he's relevant. I just feel like he got fans," referring to the "Kings Disease 3" artist.

Doubling down on his remarks, the "Spin Bout You" spitter stressed, "He's not relevant, he just has a loyal a** fan base." He went on to note, "He just has a loyal fan base and he still make good-a** music."

21 Savage has offered clarification though. Denying that he disrespecting Nas, he wrote on Twitter, "I would never disrespect nas or any legend who paved the way for me y'all be tryna take stuff and run with it."
