The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker offers her clarification upon learning claims saying she hasn't released new projects because she's fearful of low sales like what happened to Saweetie's album.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B set aside time to respond to criticism about her not releasing a new album and going on a tour after four years. The "WAP" hitmaker decided to clear things up upon learning claims saying she's afraid of what her first-week sales would look like.

The allegations was made by a TikTok user through a video while addressing Saweetie's situation, in which her album allegedly sold just 2,000 copies. Later on Saturday, November 26, Cardi shut down the speculations.

"This girl [Cardi B] has not released an album since 2018," the individual said. "That's going on six years. Invasion of Privacy came out in 2018. She's scared to release, but y'all ain't said nothin'. At least these other girls out here releasin' somethin' whether it sell or not."

Upon learning of the clip, Cardi declared on Twitter, "I'm never afraid of numbers honey." The wife of Offset wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "And I don't gotta put an another album if I want to I EATS GOOD OF MY diamond records alone [wink emoji]. Don't drag other bitches to make your point drag the man that's running their mouth…Grown man!"

Cardi then re-posted a tweet by Touring Data reporting that her 2019 "Arena Tour" became the first concert tour by a female rapper in history to average over $1 million gross per show. "Mind you it was only 7 shows," she boasted. "Let's not talk about numbers."

One fan then pressed Cardi about why she hasn't released an album or gone on a tour. "You can't get mad that ppl think you’re scared cause if so, what's the hold up?" the person asked. "You been stringing your fans along for years. And is that why you won't release? You're content eating off of old records that most don't care about anymore?"

In response, Cardi explained, "I am a human baby ..when I drop my album I' touring the world .I gotta mentally & physically prepare myself for all of that." She continued, "I didn't have management for 2 years and now I'm feelin ready ..I DO THINGS ON MY TIME MY WAY."
