AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is seemingly getting closer to going back to the business. The gossip queen is looking better than ever during her latest outing in New York City weeks after finishing her rehab stint.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail on Monday, November 21, the 58-year-old TV personality was seen in good spirits as she headed to a photo shoot for her podcast. She also sported a wide smile as she linked arms with a male companion.
For the photo session, Wendy looked gorgeous in a patterned black flared jumpsuit. The former "The Wendy Williams Show" host teamed the jumpsuit with a black-and-white houndstooth print coat and her favorite furry boots. She completed her ensemble with a leather handbag for the outing.
Reacting to Wendy's healthy look, one fan commented, "She looks and sounds a lot better... that is good congrats Wendy." A second fan wrote, "Wendy looks better. Very obvious she looks dazed and confused -Dementia folks. Prayers." Someone else chimed in, "I miss you Wendy! Get better Queen!"
Also on Monday, Wendy appeared on 107.5 WBLS radio. During her session, Wendy got emotional after a fan praised her work over the years. "Thank you all so much for being here today," Wendy, who was speechless, told the female fan.
Elsewhere during the candid conversation, Wendy revealed that Madonna is one person she never interviewed and wish she did. "I'm such a super duper fan of Madonna, I can't wait to meet her. I can't wait to meet Madonna," she shared.
Wendy also said that she can't wait to fall in love despite claiming in August that she had tied the knot with an NYPD cop named Henry. During the radio show, Wendy detailed her ideal type of a man, saying, "I want him to already have kids. I want him to be some place around my age, maybe 20 years younger than me, and maybe 15 years older than me. You know what I mean? And then we'll be able to do things together."
Wendy checked into rehab for alcohol in August. Then on October 18, her publicist Shawn Zanotti announced that she had returned home. "We are happy to report that Wendy Williams is home and healing after being in a wellness facility since August," said Shawn. "She wants to say, 'thank you to my fans for your love, support and many prayers.' "
Prior to checking herself into rehab, Wendy sparked concerns among her fans with her disorientated looks after her self-titled talk show was canceled after 13 seasons and replaced with Sherri Shepherd's "Sherri". In August, she looked disheveled and frighteningly thin as she donned a crop top, a pair of denim mini shorts, sneakers and a face of heavy makeup while stepping out to buy cigarettes and liquor.
A few days earlier, Wendy was caught walking around the lobby of her apartment barefoot in a white Versace bathrobe. Her feet appeared dirty as she made her way across the floor. At one point, she looked surprised or caught off guard, standing with her mouth agape and her eyes opened wide.
