AceShowbiz - Trevor Noah has responded to rumors claiming he and Dua Lipa are dating following their kissing photos. In a new interview, the comedian plays coy when he was asked whether he's in a relationship with the pop star.

"The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" host discussed the "latest headlines" with the "Levitating" hitmaker in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Instead of clearing things up, he coyly said, "It's just amazing to me how powerful these things are."

Trevor went on to admit that he's not the biggest fan of having his love life in the tabloids. The 38-year-old TV personality then recalled a particular occasion in which he was photographed hugging a "mystery woman," who ended up being his friend's wife, over the summer, following his split from Minka Kelly.

"The family calls the husband, like, 'Oh my God, Trevor's having an affair with your wife,' " Trevor told the outlet. "And my friend's like, 'I'm in the picture, too,' and they're like, 'Well, that's not what the tabloids say.' "

Trevor and Dua sparked dating rumors in late September after they were caught packing on PDAs during what appeared to be a dinner date at Miss Lily's in New York City. In photos obtained by DailyMail, they were seen walking side-by-side after leaving the Jamaican restaurant. They later shared a kiss and a tight hug before going their separate ways.

"They were quietly sat away from everyone else at restaurant. It was clear they were into each other and sat close together throughout the meal," an eyewitness detailed the stars' date night. "They left together and walked, stopping for long embraces and on the second kiss with hugs."

However, Dua already clarified her relationship status. "For me, this is the first year I've not been in a relationship for a very long time," the 27-year-old singer declared on the "Dua Lipa: At Your Service" podcast in October. "It's been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish."
