AceShowbiz - Cardi B has delighted fans with her surprise appearance at Lizzo's recent show. The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker showed up at the "About Damn Time" raptress' concert in Los Angeles during a performance of their joint single, "Rumors".
During the Friday, November 18 gig, which took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California the mom of two popped up from a hidden stage door embedded in the floor. As the 34-year-old Grammy winner introduced her collaborator to the crowd, they screamed in excitement.
Cardi and Lizzo then hyped up the sold-out show while dancing among a group of female dancers. Following the performance, the two musicians shared a hug in front of the concert-goers.
"Cardi B is the ultimate. She, to me, has always done it right," Lizzo said at that time. "Everything that she said, every way that she's reacted because you know why? It's because she was true to herself the whole time. She's a ground breaker. You can't deny her ability. She's a superstar."
"She has changed the game forever for a lot of us, a lot of women," the Detroit native, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, added. "I don't even think she realises she's doing it because it's just like, I'm trying to just be successful. I'm trying to get this money. I want to live a happy life. She just follows her heart. That's what I love about her."
