Meek Mill apologized for not being able to attend Takeoff's funeral service.

Takeoff's funeral took place at Atlanta's State Farm Arena on Friday. The memorial service was free to Atlanta residents with Reverend Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church leading the service which promptly started at 12:00 P.M. ET.

Among the attendees were Takeoff's groupmates Quavo and Offset. In a leaked video that circulated online, Offset was seen getting emotional while delivering his speech. "[Takeoff] changed the culture of music forever," he said. As he fought to keep his composure and hold back tears, he continued, "Lord, give us some strength. Just give us some strength… I don't want to question you, God, but I just don't get it. I don't get you sometimes. And I believe in you, Father."

Fans, meanwhile, were angry with those who leaked the footage despite no phone policy during the service. Attendees were supposed to have their phones locked in a special bag for the memorial.

"I hope the family sue you for this," one Instagram user wrote in the comments section after The Neighborhood Talk posted the video. Another fan said, "I thought they said no video, what's wrong with ya," added another.

Born Kirshnik Khari Ball, Takeoff was killed in a shooting at 810 Billiards and Bowling in Houston on November 1. The Migos rapper, who was there alongside his uncle Quavo, was pronounced dead on the scene after being shot in the head and neck. While Quavo was unharmed, his assistant Joshua Washington was injured in the shooting.
