AceShowbiz - Miguel has filed a response to the divorce papers submitted by Nazanin Mandi. In his filing, the "Remember Me" crooner stated that he and his now-estranged wife have an iron-clad prenuptial agreement before their marriage ended.

The 37-year-old singer agrees with the actress on the reason for their split, citing "irreconcilable differences." However, the former couple listed their date of separation differently. While the musician wrote August 1, 2022, his ex noted "to be determined," according to The Blast.

The inconsistency might be a problem in the case because it will determine "who gets what in a divorce" and "the length of time either party will have to pay spousal support." Meanwhile, they don't have to worry about child support since they have no kids together.

Sources additionally told The Blast that "the split is amicable so far." Still, both Miguel and Nazanin have to determine all of their financials and divide any "community property" before they finalize their divorce.

Nazanin filed the divorce papers on October 4 after nearly three years of marriage and almost two decades together. She submitted the divorce papers just months after rekindling their romance.

Miguel and Nazanin, who have been together since 2005, announced they got engaged in January 2016 and tied the knot on November 24, 2018. In September 2021, after only two years of marriage, they announced their separation.

However, earlier this year, the two hinted that they got back together. Back in January, the "Dreamcatcher" actress shared on Instagram Story a video of the "Sky Walker" crooner driving what appeared to be a golf cart. In the clip, the two were sen smiling and laughing together.

Nazanin went on to share a mirror selfie of her and Miguel as well as other pictures from their trip in the middle of the desert on her Instagram feed. The pair fueled the reconciliation speculation in the following month after sharing their loved-up photos on the same platform.
