AceShowbiz - Serena Williams clearly respects and appreciates her husband a lot, though not everyone can see his worth. The tennis champion has tweeted her support to Alexis Ohanian after the Internet entrepreneur appeared to respond to Drake's diss by calling him a "groupie" on a new song.
On the track "Middle of the Ocean", the rapper appears to take a jab at Alexis as he raps, "Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie/ He claim we don't got a problem but/ No, boo, it is like you comin' for sushi."
The lyrics caught the attention of Alexis, who seemingly reacted by bragging about his business and achievements on Twitter. "The reason I stay winning is because I'm relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do - including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter," he wrote on the Elon Musk-owned application on Friday, November 4 along with a picture of him and his daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian cheering on Selena during a tennis match.
The 39-year-old went on sharing, "I'm grateful. Everything I accomplished before those hard convos in 2020 is irrelevant to me compared to the work Jr will see me doing now. Creating one multi-billion dollar company (& seeding 35+ more) taught me a lot, now we're going to scale that using software + empathy."
On how his roles as a husband and father have changed him into a better man, he boasted, "It's cliche, but life changed when I became a husband + papa. It's made me 100x better as a man and a businessman. In @serenawilliams I found a partner I knew I would never outgrow, who would always motivate me to be Greater. And in 776, I found partners + team who do the same."
"I've been turning down media profiles for the last two years in order to focus on building @sevensevensix + @776foundation but I really appreciated all the time @abebrown716 took (even visiting the Farm!) in researching this deep-dive on the Legacy I'm building down here," he added.
Serena then voiced her support to her husband as she simply replied to his tweets, "Proud of you Babe."
