While an investigation into the assault case is pending, the 'Say It' rapper insists that he '[doesn't] have a problem with anybody' despite bloody proofs uploaded by the 'I Luv This S**t' singer.

AceShowbiz - Tory Lanez is seemingly trying to protect his peace by avoiding negativity. The "Say It" rapper has decided to avoid answering questions about his alleged altercation with August Alsina in a new interview.

The 30-year-old Canadian emcee appeared in the Friday, September 29 episode of Breakfast Club highly-anticipated interview. Once the topic of his alleged physical altercation with August came up, he appeared to be uninterested in talking about it. "Look man, like I said, I'm here to just answer about the album," he said.

However, host Angela Yee proceeded to ask Tory if there was an open investigation with Los Angeles Police Department after reports surfaced on the internet claiming law enforcement was looking into the incident. In response, he told her, "Again. Couldn't tell you. Don't know. But you know, like I said I'm here for the album and positivity."

"Don't get me wrong, I'm always here to answer all the questions and stuff but I'm really here just preaching positivity today, like you know, everything that's been going on in my life and the things that's been going on around me, I just try to keep positive," Tory explained. "You know, so no disrespect, I'm just not here to talk about that."

Despite Tory's request to leave the incident out of the interview, DJ Envy asked, "Did you ever know that y'all had a problem? Because I'm sure if you knew there was a disagreement, you wouldn't have put your hand out."

Tory replied, "Nah just generally speaking regardless I don't have a problem with anybody and I wrote for him before this, it's not one of those." Angela then seemingly took his response as an opportunity to ask if Tory thinks August had an issue with his freestyle addressing August's "entanglement" with Jada Pinkett Smith.

Tory, born Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, stressed, "Again. I like how we're doing this but like I said I'm here to talk about the album. I like where you guys are going with it." Tory then elaborated on ignoring negativity around him, stating, "The thing about it is, I can never be upset about someone's opinion."

"When there's people who have opinions it's like whatever they thought at the time, was just whatever they were feeling at the time and I know that a lot of people's opinions have changed up and down about me and it's not of me to be a judge or be God or to be playing God's role and judging people, I forgive everybody," the "Broke in a Minute" artist elaborated more. "I don't forget but I forgive."

The altercation between the two musicians allegedly occurred on September 17. The next day, August wrote via Instagram, "Me after a toupee'd sneak attack then being man handled by buku security one deep, as the jealous leprechaun run's back off into the building," along with a series of graphic photos.

Denying the allegations, Tory said, "I don't know what everybody talking about…" He claimed that he was "in the studio…," adding that he's "not in anything negative" and that he's "been working on my myself... and being a better person." He even told DJ Akademiks that "nothing happened" between him and August despite surfaced proofs of him and August at the same place before alleged brawl happened.
