After it was revealed that the rapper briefly changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of his former mother-in-law, Ye makes use of his page to explain the reason behind his move.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is setting the record straight. After it was revealed that he briefly changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of Kris Jenner, the rapper/designer took to his page to explain the reason behind his move.

The "Donda" artist wrote on Instagram Story on Wednesday, September 28, "I posted Kris with thoughts of peace and respect." He went on to slam false interpretation of his action, urging, "Lets change the narrative."

Internet users had mixed response to Ye's post. Not really buying his words, one person wrote under Hollywood Unlocked's Instagram post about the matter, "He play so f**kin muchhhh." Another person said, "So now he wanna change the narrative to Peace and respect." Someone else mocked Ye for his constantly changing statements as writing, "Chiiillleee he always mean what he says AT THE MOMENT. Give him 5 - 10 minutes he'll switch it up again."

A person also accused the Yeezy designer of being "obsessed" with the Kardashian-Jenner family in a comment that read, "This man is obsessed and his manic behavior and episodes are triggered by his obsession with them ..It's truly sad." One other, meanwhile, noted that Ye was the one who created the "narrative," writing, "He saying 'lets' like we started the narrative. YOU the one that called her Kris Jung-Un sir be fr."

Earlier that day, fans noticed that Ye changed his Instagram profile picture to a picture of Kris. Considering that the rapper called out the mom of Kim Kardashian in Instagram rant a few weeks ago, people took the action as him provoking the momager.

During his Instagram tirade earlier this month, the "Famous" spitter applauded Travis Scott (II) and Scott Disick for standing up against the momager. "These my brothers I'm only one I ever seen stand up to Kris though," he wrote along with an image of Trav and Scott's name over a black screen. He then seemingly sent a message to Kris as writing, "Come fight me I love pain."

Ye also called out Kris for supporting her daughters when they shot for Playboy. "Don't let Kris make you do playboy like she made [Kylie Jenner] and Kim do," the 45-year-old hip-hop star wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of Kylie's former assistant, Victoria Villarroel. "Hollywood is a giant brothel Pornography destroyed my family I deal with the addiction instagram promotes it Not gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago."

Ye went on to share a screenshot of a message from Kim, who relayed a message from her mom. "From my mom- PLEASE. Tell him to please stop mentioning my name. I'm almost 67 years old and I don't always feel great and this stresses me to no end," Kim's alleged text read. To that, Ye replied, "Y'all don't have so so over my black children and where they go to school. They will not do playboy and sex tapes."
