AceShowbiz - August Alsina has shared more messages after claiming that Tory Lanez "sucker-punched" him. Taking to social media, the "I Luv This S**t" crooner posted a message in which he subtly wishes the "Say It" rapper to "go to jail or hell."
Turning to his Instagram page on Tuesday, September 20, the 30-year-old singer posted a cryptic message that read, "In honor of trying to combat revengeful tactics within myself, growing tf up, honoring 30 years of wisdom, and building wellness routes for self and others…i want to encourage everybody to keep vibing high & keep well as they go to hell or jail, whichever suits them best."
August then used the opportunity to promote his skincare brand Encina Wellness before adding, "hold yourself accountable to continuously rise up against all odds and illusions of societal & mental devils or belief's that try to get u to crash out."
Prior to this, August posted an encouraging text from his mother amid his recovery after allegedly being physically assaulted by Tory. The message from his mom read, "Listen imma need you to be happy full of joy you did nothing wrong."
"It's not your fault for being the chosen one. You are victorious never let them see you sweet (sic). Dust off your feet you can't bring old dust into new territory," she continued. "Jesus was hated by many til this day they still hate him. We are not exempt. The higher you go the more demons you have to fight. The blessing of it all is you have the AMOUR OF GOD!!!!!"
August later expressed his gratitude for his mother, as well as the healing journey he's embarked on in recent years following his battle with liver disease. "I'm So thankful for the healing that God has brought to my mom and I's journey. I could lose it all today, & THAT would still be the greatest remaining gift known to the name and soul of August." He then sent a message to his fans, "Everybody stay safe, strive hard to believe in yourself and Jesus."
August claimed in a series of graphic Instagram posts that Tory attacked him on Saturday night, September 17. The former Def Jam Recordings artist claimed that Tory hit him when he turned his head after he ignored Tory's handshake attempt. Defending himself, August said that he's told by his doctor to "shake as less hands as possible due to corona, & monkeypox."
As for now, the case is being investigated by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Meanwhile, Tory, who claimed that "nothing happened" between them despite alleged proofs, was axed from "Fall Back in Love Comedy & Music Jam" tour as tour creator Rip Micheals said that he witnessed the Canadian rapper sucker-punched August in the face.
