AceShowbiz - Is Gisele Bundchen okay? The Brazilian supermodel was caught crying and wiping her tears away while she was on the phone amid alleged marital drama, which reportedly stemmed from Tom Brady's NFL return.
In photos released by Page Six on Friday, September 16, the 42-year-old beauty was seen getting emotional while talking on the phone and walking along Hudson River Park in New York City, near the Tribeca apartment she shares with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers player on Wednesday, September 14.
An eyewitness said, "Gisele was walking on her own on the West Side, crying into her mobile phone." A separate source speculated the supermodel may have been on the phone with Tom, who was at the Buccaneers training camp in Tampa at the time.
Meanwhile, a separate source added the former Victoria's Secret Angel was also upset over the coverage of her Elle magazine interview, which was released on Tuesday, in the press. "Gisele wanted the story to be about her career and her environmental work. But all the focus from the media was on her quotes about Tom," claimed the insider.
More recently, it's reported that the rift between her and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is "widening" after she flew solo to NYC for modeling work during New York Fashion Week.
Gisele's flight to NYC came shortly after her interview with Elle, in which she addressed her "concerns" over Tom's ongoing NFL career, was released. "Obviously, I have my concerns-this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," she confessed.
"I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]," Gisele told the magazine. "He needs to follow his joy, too."
For his part, Tom allegedly "knows that this is his last season" in the NFL "if he wants to stay married" to Gisele. Though it's said that his marriage is not "over by any means," the seven-time champion knows he will have to retire permanently from playing after the season to smooth over any marital issues.
"She doesn't hate that he's playing football, but she sure hates the way he handled the retirement and coming back," the so-called insider told PEOPLE. "He knows that, and he's doing what he can do to smooth things over. He does know that this is his last season if he wants to stay married."
