The Brazilian supermodel speaks out for the first time after the Tampa Bay Buccaneer quarterback decided to return to the NFL following a brief retirement.

AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen has finally broken her silence on Tom Brady's return to the NFL. While she supports her husband to "follow his joy" by coming out of his retirement, the fashion model admitted that she has "concerns" about him playing again.

The 42-year-old addressed the matter in a new interview with Elle. "Obviously, I have my concerns-this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," she confessed.

"I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]," the Brazilian beauty added. "He needs to follow his joy, too."

Gisele also slammed "sexist" reports suggesting that she's "desperate" for Tom to retire from the NFL. "I think this is the system we've been living in. That's what society has accepted and what society hasn't accepted," she stated.

Gisele and Tom had been hit with split rumors because she allegedly was not happy with his decision to return to the NFL. Earlier this month, it was reported that the pair are no longer living together amid an alleged "epic fight" over his comeback.

"There's a lot of tension. [Gisele] was so happy when he announced his retirement, and she wasn't thrilled at all when he went back on that," a source explained. "They're hitting a rough patch. But I know they're trying, or at least he's trying, to figure it out and make it work. He wants to get through this and for things to get better."

Gisele, however, has already shut down the breakup speculations. Before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Dallas Cowboys 19-3 on Sunday, September 11, she declared on Twitter, "Let's go @TomBrady ! Let's go Bucs !" Still, she did not attend her spouse's season opener at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
