AceShowbiz - The first group of the 2022 Emmy Awards presenters has been revealed. Among those who will present a trophy to a winner at the annual award show are Selena Gomez, Kerry Washington as well as "Squid Game" stars, Jung Ho-yeo and Lee Jung-jae.

Other big names who have been tapped as presenters are "Hacks" duo Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, Jimmy Kimmel and his fellow late-night host Seth Meyers. Amy Poehler, Ariana DeBose, Angela Bassett, Will Arnett, Vanessa Bayer, Kelly Clarkson, Taye Diggs, Diego Luna, Molly Shannon, Natalie Zea, Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni also join the list.

The 74th annual Emmy Awards will be hosted by Kenan Thompson. The event is set to air live from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on Monday, September 12 at 8 P.M. ET/ 5 P.M. PT on NBC and Peacock.

Leading this year's nominations is "Succession" with a total of nods, including the Outstanding Drama Series. The show will battle out the category with "Squid Game", "Better Call Saul", "Euphoria", "Ozark", "Severance", "Stranger Things" as well as "Yellowjackets". In addition, the Jesse Armstrong-created show is up for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong.

"Ted Lasso" trails behind with 20 nods, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for Jason Sudeikis. "The White Lotus" also earns the same number as it sees its name in Outstanding Limited Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie categories among others.

"Hacks" and "Only Murders in the Building" follow with 17 nods. Unfortunately, Selena was snubbed from the est actress in a comedy series category, which upset her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Steve told the New York Times newspaper, "Well, we're thrilled. We're thrilled at the nominations, not only for us but for the show... We're dismayed that Selena was not nominated because she's so crucial to our performances, really." Martin, meanwhile, pointed out she has been "nominated as an executive producer."
