Fans are wondering whether the 'Fault in Our Stars' actors are taking their on-screen romance off-screen after Ansel posts photos of them enjoying an Italian romantic dinner.

AceShowbiz - Are Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley taking their on-screen romance off-screen now? "The Fault in Our Stars" actors have sent the Internet into a frenzy after they're seen snuggling up to each other during an Italian dinner.
On Wednesday, September 7, Ansel turned to his Instagram page to share a photo of him and Shailene sharing a cuddle at a restaurant. In the picture, the pair flashed big smiles as the 28-year-old actor wrapped his arm around the 30-year-old actress and pulled her in close to his chest.
For the dinner, Ansel wore a white Thom Browne shirt while Shailene looked gorgeous in a green-and-white striped button-down shirt. On the dinner table, there were two glasses of red wine, a bowl of parmesan cheese, a leafy appetizer and a digital camera.
Not stopping there, Ansel also posted an image of Shailene enjoying a romantic dinner al fresco seemingly with him. In the photo, Shailene cupped her hands as a man, presumably Ansel, filled her wine glass. "It's the time of the season for loooovvingg," Ansel captioned the post, which also included photos of his friends and mother Grethe Barrett Holby.
One day earlier, Ansel recreated the iconic "Dirty Dancing" lift with Shailene. Sharing the end result on his Instagram account, Ansel, who also starred alongside Shailene in the "Divergent" series, wrote in the caption, "Clean dancing w Shai," adding red and green heart emojis and an Italian flag.
Fans quickly took note of the photos of Shailene, who played Ansel's love interest Hazel Grace Lancaster in "The Fault in Our Stars." One Instagram user commented, "OKAY AUGUSTUS WATERS AND HAZEL GRACE LANCASTER." Another wrote, "OKAY? OKAYY," referencing their signature line in the 2014 romance drama.
Someone else wondered, "Wait! You guys dating!!??" A separate social media user echoed, "OMG OMG ARE YOU TWO DATING?" Another quipped, "an alternative ending where they live happily ever after?!"
Shailene previously opened up about how their longtime friendship helped their on-screen chemistry in "The Fault in Our Stars". "There's something really beautiful about working with someone again and again and again, because the more you get to know somebody on a personal level, the more free you feel artistical," she said. "I think that if Ansel and I hadn't known each other from 'Divergent', our relationship in this movie would not be what it is."
