In a new interview, the controversial comedian, who is accused of grooming alongside Tiffany Haddish, gives his two cents on the current generation of hip-hop artists while bragging about musicians from his era.

AceShowbiz - Aries Spears continues to make headlines with his controversial remarks. In a new interview, the comedian gave his two cents on the current generation of hip-hop artists while bragging about musicians from his era.

Making it clear that he's not a fan of newer music, Aries said, "I mean, other than Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole... garbage." He later compared the young rappers to the ones from the '90s that include Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nas, DMX, Jadakiss, Big Pun and Big L.

"You put them up against this young generation of rappers, you would literally have the '92 Dream Team versus the Special Olympics. Spottemgottem, f**kin' Lil Nas X, f**kin'...who else are the rest of these n***as? The Island Boys, Tekashi 6ix9ine, all them n***as look like Tim Burton Batman villains," he claimed. "F**k outta here! Them n***as is garbage! Dumpster juice, n***a!"

Despite controversial, some Internet users agreed with Aries' opinion. "Facts!!!! Cant stand you whack rappers! I will merk yall lyrically!!! #NOPEN check me out if you want a breath of freah air and not bulls**t," someone wrote. Another user opined, "The best 10 year period of rap was 1995-2005. I pay homage to the rappers of the 80's & early 90's but a lot of them would get smoked in a vs or a battle. Post 2010 there's only a handful of rappers that can make an album with out talking violence drugs or degrading women."

"He's right. Rap is a minstrel show now," another person noted. A user, however, urged people to stop comparing, saying, "It's not garbage but definitely not the 80's or 90's old heads need to stop comparing everything to the 90s enjoy the now."

Aries, who previously faced backlash over her fat-shaming comments on Lizzo, recently made headlines after his and Tiffany Haddish's "Through a Pedophile's Eyes" skit was leaked on social media. The skit showed a woman who repeatedly left her child alone with a man who lusted after him. There were also scenes of the child wearing minimal clothing. When Aries was looking at the boy, R. Kelly's "Bump & Grind" would play in the background.

The video emerged online as the two comedians have been accused of grooming a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother by forcing them to film explicit skit. The siblings, identified as Jane Doe, now 22, and John Doe, now 14, sued them as they claimed that they have developed debilitating social disorders.
