AceShowbiz - Ray J and Princess Love arguably are in a toxic relationship. The pair got into a heated argument in the latest episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" season 5 as they both admitted to cheating on each other during their relationship.
Airing on Monday, August 22, the episode saw them discussing the decline of their relationship. Each of them had a different reason why their partnership fell apart. At one point, Ray J yelled at his estranged wife, "I almost died in the hospital!" To that, Princess Love retorted, "You filed for divorce."
"I'm dying and you're still thinking about b***h wearing your clothes. That's not right. And you wonder why I got a divorce," Ray J continued. The "One Time" crooner was seemingly referring to the time when he was hospitalized due to a non-COVID pneumonia back in October.
Things got worse when Princess Love admitted to seeing other men when they were together. She, however, blamed it on Ray J's constant infidelity. "[It's] always been strippers and prostitutes," she said. However, the Raycon creator didn't think it was cheating as he argued, "Strippers and prostitutes don't count."
Ray J quickly became a trending topic on Twitter after the show's official account shared a clip of the scene on the blue bird app. Many users accused Ray J of gaslighting Princess Love about cheating.
"This is the grossest form of gaslighting I've ever seen. What would YOUR KIDS THINK OF YOU when they find out their mom had to seek companionship with someone else because their dad kept sleeping with strippers and prostitutes @RayJ," one person commented.
Another fan added, "So amazing how when men cheat, they discount their actions & demand forgiveness but b/c Princess is seeing someone else, she's this horrible person. Ray J needs 2 ask himself the same questions he's asking Princess. Women R no longer putting up w/ their partners cheating on them." One user, meanwhile, opined, "The irony in Ray calling Princess a liar and a cheater...uhm, dude, you cheated on her multiple times, filed for a divorce and then proceeded to try and paint her as the bad guy. How old are we again? Let's actually man up and take accountability for our own actions. #LHHMIA."
Ray J and Princess Love, who got married at Los Angeles' Cathedral of Saint Vibiana in August 2016, indeed have a rollercoaster relationship. Last September, the rapper hinted at trouble in paradise just months after Princess Love filed a dismissal of her divorce papers. Ray J sparked the split speculation after he wiped his Instagram account clean. He also declared in his bio that he is "separated and single."
