Karlae, who previously dated the incarcerated rapper for years, shares a cryptic tweet after the 24-year-old singer shows off the surprises she got from the YSL founder.

AceShowbiz - Karlae's recent social media post has raised some eyebrows. Many online users believe that she reacted to Young Thug's sweet gesture for Mariah the Scientist through a tweet she shared on Tuesday, August 2.
"Check on Karlae ? I'm in another time zone :)" Karlae penned on her Twitter page, prompting fans to assume that she has yet to move on from Thug. "The response says it all sis… u hurt. I would be to. Sis was doing interviews talking about him like that was her man," one person opined.
"It's giving…. I still care, but imma act like I don't," another user commented. Someone else chimed in, "If she wasn't hurt she wouldn't even respond." A different individual, meanwhile, suggested, "Shouldn't have even addressed it Ms. Different time zone lol."
The cryptic post arrived after Mariah showed off the surprises she got from Thug, who has been jailed in Atlanta on RICO charges. Taking to the blue bird app, she shared a photo of a hotel room filled with rose petals and balloons, with some of them reading, "Mrs. Sold Out Dates." She gushed in the caption, "Couldn't ask for better."
Mariah also unleashed a picture of a bed with red and pink balloons on it. There was a message spelled out in rose petals that read, "See U Soon Love, Jeffery."
Mariah and Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, were first linked romantically in November 2021. At that time, the "Beautiful Thugger Girls" artist was photographed cozying up to the singer at a party.
An Instagram account of Thug's label, YSL Records, shared some black-and-white pictures of him and Mariah sitting next to each other. In one of the snaps, Mariah was seen clinging to the hip-hop star and hugging him.
In January, Mariah released the "Walked In" music video which shows her and her alleged boyfriend tying the knot. Thug's frequent collaborator Gunna, who is also behind bars, makes an appearance on the clip.
As for Karlae, she previously claimed she was "engaged" to the YSL founder. She additionally told HotNewHipHop in August 2021, "I was on the road with him for a long time... I picked up a lot of my musical sense from him. We've been together for seven years and I've known him for seven years. We linked up in Miami and have been attached at the hip ever since."
